Our organically grown ingredients and how they help:

Cranberry

A substance in cranberries, called proanthocyanidins, help prevent UTI-causing bacteria from sticking to the walls of the bladder and other urinary tract linings. If bacteria can't stick, they're likely to get flushed away the next time you use the bathroom instead.

Orange Peel

Orange peels possess bactericidal, antiseptic, and fungicidal properties which help in removing urinary tract infections or kidney infections.

Stinging Nettle Leaf

Stinging Nettle is effective at relieving symptoms such as reduced urinary flow, incomplete emptying of the bladder, post urination dripping, and the constant urge to urinate.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus sabdariffa is also traditionally known for its anti-oxidative properties, thanks to the very high content in bioflavonoids and anthocyanins, especially hibiscin, which has proven to be useful also in the prevention of UTIs.

Plantain Leaf

Plantain is anti-inflammatory and has been used to induce diuresis of urine and help treat urinary tract infections.

Marshmallow Root

Marshmallow root also has the potential to act as a diuretic. Diuretics help the body to flush out excess fluid. This helps to cleanse the kidneys and the bladder. Other research suggests that the extract can support overall urinary health.

Goldenrod

Goldenrod is often used to help "flush out" kidney stones and stop inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract.

Yarrow

Yarrow is a good urinary antiseptic. When consumed as a warm or cool (rather than hot) infusion, its diuretic properties are emphasized making it a useful remedy for cystitis and urinary tract infections. It's also been praised for helping cases of urinary incontinence.

Uva Ursi

Before antibiotics came about, uva ursi was used as a natural remedy to treat UTIs.

The plant contains natural chemicals with infection-fighting properties, called glycosides and arbutin.

Glycosides help reduce the bacteria in your urine. Your body transforms glycosides into hydroquinone, a compound with antibacterial properties.

Echinacea

Echinacea contains active substances that boost immune function, relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and have hormonal, antiviral, and antioxidant effects. For this reason, professional herbalists may recommend echinacea to treat urinary tract infections, vaginal yeast (candida) infections, ear infections (also known as otitis media), athlete's foot, sinusitis, hay fever (also called allergic rhinitis), as well as slow-healing wounds.

Rooibos

Rooibos tea is caffeine free, low in tannins, rich in minerals and boasts a high volume of antioxidants. It helps with kidney and urinary tract problems, high blood pressure, arthritis, rheumatism, general pains and water retention.
