Red raspberry leaf is a wonderful herb for supporting pregnancy and toning the uterus, helping to prepare for childbirth and decrease the duration of labor. Peppermint pairs nicely with the red raspberry leaf and can help to ease an upset stomach. Chamomile is relaxing and helps to promote restful sleep. It is best to wait until the second or third trimester to enjoy this tea. It is always best to consult with your doctor or midwife before taking any herbs during pregnancy.
Organic Ingredients: Dried red raspberry leaf, dried peppermint, dried chamomile flowers.
Amount of water will vary with desired taste.
Pour 1 cup of hot water over 1 tablespoon of tea. Allow to steep for 10 minutes, then strain. This tea can be consumed hot or iced. Multiply recipe for a larger batch.
Drink 1-2 cups daily during the second and third trimesters to promote a healthy pregnancy, tone the uterus and calm the stomach.
