Bringing Baby Home A Two-Day Gottman Workshop for New and Expecting Parents

Welcoming a baby changes nearly every part of a couple’s life—including their relationship.

Bringing Baby Home is a two-day, research-based workshop developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman to help new and expecting parents navigate the transition into parenthood while protecting and strengthening their relationship.

Led by Laura Lawyer, BSW, MSW, LCSW, Certified Gottman Therapist and owner of A Peace of Mind Counseling, PLLC, this supportive and practical workshop will give couples tools to strengthen their friendship, communicate more effectively, manage conflict, preserve intimacy, and work together as a parenting team.

Participants will also explore infant development, responsive parenting, and ways to create a healthy emotional foundation for their growing family.
