Premenstrual Support Tea

We’ve got good news for you: Mother Nature has some natural ways to relieve and even prevent premenstrual syndrome so you can keep doing the things you love — without monthly interruptions.

Ashwagandha is a wonderful adaptogen that helps to regulate your stress hormone and normalize cortisol levels. It reduces inflammation, improves memory and immune functions while easing stress and anxiety.

Antispasmodic Cramp Bark relieves pain by relaxing the uterine muscle.

Chasteberry contains compounds that have been shown to affect receptors for estrogen and dopamine (one of our feel-good neurotransmitters). It can help with menstrual cycle irregularity, cramps, bloating and breast tenderness.

Gentian, like Calendula, has emmenagogue properties which can help regulate the menstrual cycle. It also has nervine properties, which are particularly helpful for calming the nervous system in cases of premenstrual or menopausal mood swings.

Ginger is a wonder herb that can effectively ease menstrual cramps. This herb plays a key role in lowering the levels of the pain-causing prostaglandins. It also helps fight fatigue associated with premenstrual syndrome and can make irregular periods regular.

Hibiscus has been found to have analgesic properties, which can help reduce menstrual pain. Hormone balancing: Research suggests that Hibiscus can influence hormone levels, potentially aiding in the regulation of menstrual cycles.

Lemon balm is known for its calming properties and can help with PMS-related anxiety and insomnia.

As an emmenogogue, Motherwort acts as a uterine tonic which helps to regulate menstruation, bring on delayed periods and can reduce smooth muscle cramping – particularly menstrual cramps.

Motherwort can also help relieve premenstrual tension and discomfort. Most menstrual cramps are partially due to inadequate circulation in the pelvis. Motherwort may help calm menstrual pain by both reducing spasms in the uterus and improving blood flow to the pelvis.

Rose tea's anti-inflammatory effects and vitamin profile help to reduce period-related cramping, bloating, anxiety, and mood swings.
