Arthritis Relief Tea

Our Arthritis Relief Tea contains a blend of powerful anti-inflammatory herbs to help ease the discomfort of swollen, achy joints.

Sustainably sourced, organic ingredients: Stinging Nettle Leaf, Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, Peppermint Leaf, Licorice Root, Turmeric Root, Cinnamon Bark, Orange Peel

Steeping:

Amount of water will vary with desired taste.

Pour 1 cup hot water over 1 tablespoon of tea. Allow to steep for 10-12 minutes then strain. Multiply recipe for larger batches.

Drink 1-2 cups daily to help alleviate aches and pains associated with arthritis.

Stinging Nettle Leaf

Stinging Nettle has been proven to be have effective anti- inflammatory properties. It has been used historically to treat arthritis and relieve sore muscles.

Burdock Root

Burdock Root is full fatty oils and antioxidants which help reduce inflammation throughout the body.

Dandelion Root

Dandelion contains taraxasterol, a compound known for having significant antioxidant properties that combat inflammation. 

Licorice Root

Glycyrrhizin is the component in licorice which blocks and relieves inflammation. It also supports the body's release of cortisol (which suppresses the immune system, easing the pain and occurrence of arthritis), but it also inhibits some of the side effects of cortisol (such as adrenal fatigue and anxiety).

Turmeric Root

Turmeric is an extremely effective anti-inflammatory herb, and thus an effective pain reliever. It contains at least two chemicals (curcumin and curcuminoids) which decrease inflammation.

Orange Peel

Orange peels contain a bioflavonoid called nobiletin that can lower inflammation and overall pain in joints such as the knees. 

Peppermint and Cinnamon

Peppermint and Cinnamon not only add to the flavor of this tea, they also have antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
