Our organically grown ingredients and how they help:

Burdock Root

Burdock root has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and liver-protecting properties.  Burdock Root is one of those rare herbs that stimulate lymphatic drainage and detoxification. It stimulates the kidneys, allowing urine to be passed more frequently and in greater quantity - this helps to cleanse the kidneys and can prevent water retention.

Dandelion Root

Dandelion has antioxidant properties and also helps improve the immune system. Dandelion root is used to detoxify the liver and gallbladder, and dandelion leaves to help kidney function.

Milk Thistle Seed

Milk thistle (Silymarin marianum) is a well-known herbal therapeutic commonly used for liver support. It supports detoxification through enhancing liver as well as kidney and pancreatic function.

Barberry Root

Barberry root bark is used for liver problems, gallbladder disease, jaundice, spleen disorders, diarrhea, indigestion, hemorrhoids, kidney and urinary tract diseases, gout, joint pain (rheumatism), arthritis, mid- and low-back pain. Barberry improves bile secretion. By boosting the secretion of bile, barberry is excellent for improving the health of both the liver and gallbladder, and also lowering LDL “bad” cholesterol.

Fennel Seed

The cleansing properties of fennel seeds help in maintaining healthy gall bladder and liver. Fennel is an antiacid, helping to neutralize excess acids in the stomach and intestines as well as clearing uric acid from the joints.

Licorice Root

Recent studies on hepatoprotective effects of licorice suggest that it can reduce liver injury by enhancing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity.

Ginger Root

Ginger root contains powerful compounds, including gingerols and shogaols, that help inhibit inflammation and protect against cellular damage, which may help support liver health. Plus, ginger may help protect your liver against toxins like alcohol.

Turmeric

Turmeric is an Indian spice with the active ingredient called curcumin. Not only does it give turmeric its yellow color; it comes with various potential health benefits.

Curcumin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanisms that help with various health issues, including heart conditions, liver disease, and certain inflammation-related chronic diseases.

Peppermint and Lemon Peel

Not only does peppermint and lemon peel make the tea tasty, they significantly improve indicators of kidney and liver health.
